Wardruna’s Raido new music video
We are proud to announce that this summer our events company Alvebakken has hosted a huge event: the shooting here on the island of Sandhornøy of the very first Wardruna’s music video for their song Raido!
Wardruna (Einar Selvik and Lindy-Fay Hella) is a world-renowned project that makes music like no other – based around the ideas and instruments of the Vikings and ancient Norse.
The History Channel’s series, “Vikings”, a historical fiction series based on the reign of Viking king Ragnar Lothbrok directed by Michael Hirst (“Elizabeth”, “The Tudors”), featured music by Norwegian heritage folk act WARDRUNA in several episodes.
We highly recommend to watch this video. The song and the video are stunning and our beloved island of Sandhornøy has been the perfect location for it!
A big thank you to Wardruna and to the producer of the video Tuukka Koski and his team at Koski Syväri for choosing us as their hosts, for allowing us to select the best possible locations for Raido Music Video here in Sandhornøy trusting our profound knowledge of this land and territory, for allowing us to take care of your accommodation in one of the most astounding houses here on the island with a breathtaking view and for taking care of the catering of this amazing event!
